The Church of the Covenant believes that we should be in partnership with parents to influence the next generation toward a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive for programs that are vital, sustainable, and Christ-centered. Our Sunday School and Youth Group include time for learning, fellowship and fun. We discuss current topics from a Biblical perspective. We have a team of caring adults leaders and volunteers who teach and nurture the youth who attend our programs.

Swim parties and other events to be determined. Stay tuned!
Club 56 will be joining us for Kennywood and Faith Night and swim party (TBD).
The Alumni Bible study meets in the Youth Room every Monday at 5:00 pm. We are digging deep into James. There is much to mine here as we see about how we should live as Christ-followers!
For 2017 Confirmation will take on a whole new look. All of the “classes” will be in conjunction with Mission Washington so the students can learn about their faith in the context of mission. It’ll be much more relevant that way.
Confirmation Purpose Statement:
To have the young people make a public profession of faith in their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For them to have an active, joyful, faith that is their own. To have them gain an appreciation of the Presbyterian Church, and enjoy fellowship with the members and pastors of The Church of the Covenant. This will be accomplished through teaching, experiential learning, and fellowship opportunity experienced together and facilitated by teachers, advisers, and prayer partners.
In any case, if you are in 9th grade this year, or missed it in a previous year, you are welcome and encouraged to participate.

The Church of the Covenant is a Christian Church that believes that the family is the most important and fundamental unit of our faith. We believe God has placed a special call in this congregation to reach out to the young families of Washington, and to help them to develop strong family relationships with one and another and with our Lord Jesus Christ.
