The IMPACT Middle School and High School Youth Group has been meeting in virtual format since late March. We have enjoyed weekly fellowship time, some fun games, and pondered Godly truths through videos, scripture, and discussion. It has been a great opportunity to focus on something positive during the week when so much of the world is inconsistent and unknown.
Due to the on-going problems related to the health issues facing our communities, IMPACT will continue to meet online instead of in-person. Our usual face-to-face Sunday morning meetings will not occur until further notice. Instead, we will continue hosting virtual youth group on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm – 8:30pm beginning on Wednesday, September 23. These virtual meetings will take place throughout September and October, at which time we will re-evaluate the conditions associate with COVID-19 and announce our future plans. Middle and High School students attending in-person services on Sundays will have the opportunity to worship with their families during this time.
We welcome all incoming 6th through 12th grade students to join us for our virtual meetings starting Wednesday, September 23. Please contact Dave Narigon, Interim Director of Youth Ministry, if you have any questions (email@example.com or 412-848-1804).

Confirmation Purpose Statement: date of Confirmation Class 2021 TBD.
To have the young people make a public profession of faith in their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For them to have an active, joyful, faith that is their own. To have them gain an appreciation of the Presbyterian Church, and enjoy fellowship with the members and pastors of The Church of the Covenant. This will be accomplished through teaching, experiential learning, and fellowship opportunity experienced together and facilitated by teachers, advisers, and prayer partners.
In any case, if you are in 9th grade this year, or missed it in a previous year, you are welcome and encouraged to participate.
For any question regarding our youth programs, please contact Debi in the church office – 724-222-0190 x 112 email: firstname.lastname@example.org .
The Church of the Covenant is a Christian Church that believes that the family is the most important and fundamental unit of our faith. We believe God has placed a special call in this congregation to reach out to the young families of Washington, and to help them to develop strong family relationships with one and another and with our Lord Jesus Christ.
