If you would like to be included, please email Pastor Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Below is the information regarding the topics Dr. Creach will discuss:
Amos: Champion of Justice and RighteousnessThe main role of the Hebrew prophets was to call Israel back to faithfulness in Yahweh, to remind them of who God is and what God expected of them. In order to proclaim their message, they often challenged those in power for their corruption and support of injustice and they indicted God’s people for abandoning faith in their God. Amos was the first of these prophets. He set the tone for all those who would follow him. In this series, we will explore the circumstances of Amos’ prophecy and the message of this incredible messenger of God and ask in each lesion, what does Amos have to say to us today?
