We are fortunate to continue this program for the preschoolers. Thank you for helping and to continue to help to provide this excellent opportunity that the children absolutely LOVE. This program is all about fitness and nutrition education for preschoolers.  A certified Fitness Specialist, Miss Kathy, will exercise with the children once a month for each age group.  The children will work to master their FUNdamental motor skills, improve their level of fitness, and continue to develop cognitive, physical and social skills.  This program is a supplement to what we teach here at the preschool.  There are different themed activities that will challenge and enrich your children.

We are so excited to bring this program to the children.  LET’S BE FIT AT PRESCHOOL!

Friendly Reminder about Clearances

Posted on Jul 10, 2015

We do require, according to the Pennsylvania State Law, 3 clearances for any person who volunteers to be in the classrooms with the children.  Below are the links to the sites.

Criminal History: https:/

This clearance will come back to you almost immediately on line.

Child Abuse History:

This clearance should come back to you within 24 hrs via email.

FBI Fingerprint:  If you have been a resident in PA for 10 consecutive years you can complete a form provided by the Preschool.  If not then website is

You then take the paper that you have printed out to Mailbox and More by Solomon’s Restaurant and do the fingerprinting there.  Your clearance will come in the mail.

As of now these clearances are good for 3 years and it is up to you to maintain them.  You will probably have to obtain these clearances for the public schools as well.

There is no exception to this policy since it is a state law.  If you are going to be in the classrooms, clearances are needed.

As always if you have any questions call or stop by my office.
